About His Books
Paul’s first novel is “The Griffin In The Valley,” published by Trafford Publishing, Canada, in 2004.
These are the notes from the back cover:
Among ancient Greek ruins in the mysterious Valley of The Temples in the south of Sicily, a series of stone carvings inscribed with advanced scientific formulae has been found. A small group of well-intentioned scholars tries to interpret the archaic messages, but are threatened by an unknown enemy who is determined to thwart them.
Leo Castella is drawn to the island after his father, a member of the research panel, is assaulted on the streets of Palermo and remains in a coma. Together with a cousin who is a Cistercian monk, Leo discovers apparatus built by an ancient sage and long hidden in a chamber beneath a temple. They learn that the most valuable benefit available to the world is a free, inexhaustible supply of energy that has its source in cosmic rays.
The characters grapple with the moral issues of power and financial gain, ownership and the possible misuse of the newfound energy in the wrong hands. Ultimately, more information is unearthed which suggests that their unique source of power has far greater potential then they had ever imagined.

Paul’s previous book is a short, self-published work of non-fiction titled “The Sign Of The Quatrefoil.”
The source of inspiration for this book was drawn from the Ancient Mystery Schools of Greece and Rome, including the teachings of visionaries such as Pythagoras and Empedocles. In it, Paul examines how most things, people and events comprise four distinct parts, which are drawn together in harmony or Universal Love to form a fifth quintessential result.
It teaches some basic practical exercises in the release of materialism, breathing, visualization and meditation. The objective is to determine in what way any set of four may be drawn together harmoniously to produce a new fifth unit, which is greater than the sum of its parts. It is often the case that when we identify a set of four elements, steps, objects, feelings, ideas, states or beliefs, we find that either we are missing one of them in our lives, or else we have failed to join the pieces together coherently.
Paul’s next book will be a novel which is a sequel to “The Griffin In The Valley.”
The characters who made world-shattering discoveries in Southern Italy now move to Outback Australia and try to replicate the experiments devised by the Ancient Masters. They are caught up in adventure and intrigue while being pursued by ruthless antagonists and again confront the enormous moral issues involved.
This book is due for release in 2005.
